Born on 1 July, Dolf is loving towards and protective of those he’s closest to, but with a tendency to growl and retreat when a stranger comes too close. While he needs to have a certain amount of silence and solitude in his days, he also spends much of his time with his siblings, especially his sisters. Although he’s now an adult, his inner kitten comes out when enrichment is on offer, putting his whole head into a dung and spice-filled box and rolling around in bliss.

A curious lioness who lets nothing in her surroundings go uninvestigated, Vasylyna sees and knows all, and will often come to 'supervise' the work of her caretakers through the fence. Although she has grown into a powerful and confident lioness, she still enjoys spending many hours at play with her partner, Nikola, running, rolling and playing soccer.

For Nikola, the finer things in life truly are free, and his enrichment activities bring him endless joy. Whether he's spending time with his partner, Vasylyna, or indulging in his favourite treats, enrichment is always the highlight of his day. From boxes filled with hay and animal dung to aromatic spices and sweet scents, these simple pleasures top his list. Like any king, Nikola never misses an opportunity to lounge on his hammock surveying his vast kingdom below.

Meet Romeo, a white lion known for his sweet and sensitive demeanour. His sensitivity extends to his choice of companions, as he carefully observes and selects his friends amongst the neighbouring enclosures. 

When it comes to enrichment, Romeo has a particular fondness for cinnamon and blueberry scents, which never fail to brighten his day. Because of his delicate pigmentation, Romeo often seeks refuge in the shade, protecting his sensitive skin from the sun.

Confident and playful, Kassala adores her older sisters and spends her days running, wrestling, napping in the sun, and shredding hessian enrichment bags. When she’s not busy causing mischief or spending quality time with her sisters, she can be found flirting with the boy next door, Moody.

Meet Rudo, a dapper young lion who enjoys playing ball, taking long naps in the sun with his belly to the sky, and giving his brother Kali a good bath. While he has a soft spot for his caretakers who are always nearby, he values his privacy at mealtime and isn’t shy about making it known that it’s time to give him some space to eat in peace.
